As America marks 250 years of independence, Glorious 4th invites you to explore the many ways people have understood freedom across our nation’s history. Throughout the weekend, you’ll step into stories that show that independence is not a simple idea, and that history has demonstrated how America has been celebrated, challenged, and reimagined.
Lenape Storytelling: 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Glorious Fourth Prairietown Celebration and parade: 2 p.m.
Dissenting Voices: Noon and 3 p.m.
