America’s 250th Outdoor Summer Celebration | Indiana State Museum

The Indiana State Museum's modern glass and stone exterior rises alongside the Indianapolis Canal Walk on a sunny day, with a tree-lined pedestrian path running along the canal and the downtown Indianapolis skyline visible in the distance.

Join us outdoors at Celebration Plaza in White River State Park for a FREE celebration of America’s milestone birthday! Bring family and friends to collaborate on a community mural and enjoy hands-on activities including yard games like Jenga, Connect 4, cornhole, lawn bowling and fun with bubbles. Be a part of a collaborative spray bottle art project about fireworks, too! Stay afterwards for the White River State Park’s Star Spangled Sky drone show!

Parking is free and available in the White River State Park garage on a first-come first-served basis.
