DESCRIPTION:Join RAFT  (River Assessment Field Teams) Volunteers to conduct essential water quality sampling. With some time and dedication\, anyone 18 years of age and older with moderate physical fitness (due to uneven terrain) can become a RAFT volunteer. Before becoming a RAFT volunteer\, first complete the online RAFT training program. This will provide an important foundation for understanding what’s involved in water sampling as well as the science behind the various measurements you will take in the field.

The bold exhibit features prints created by artists from across the Americas through an independent coalition of printmaking workshops. \n\n\n\nAt 11 a.m. May 30\, opening day\, join us at a guided tour of the new exhibition led by Sandra Fernandez\, executive director of the Consejo Gráfico Nacional coalition; Andie Arana Gomez\, curatorial advisor on the project; and Laura Fry\, museum vice president of curatorial & collections. \n\n\n\nFrom 1 to 3 p.m. May 30\, visitors of all ages can experiment with printmaking activities in the museum’s studios\, and learn about linocut and Gelli-plate printing from artist Andie Arana Gomez. \n\n\n\nPrograms and the exhibit are included with museum admission. Consejo Gráfico Nacional will be on view through spring of 2027.

We will meet in the parking lot near the restrooms as shown on the map below.  \n\n\n\nThis workday is from 9am-12pm. You are welcome to leave at any time\, but we ask that all attendees arrive 15 minutes early to sign in. \n\n\n\nAll participants are REQUIRED to complete a virtual safety training prior to the event that will take around 20 minutes to complete. A link to the training platform will be emailed to you after registration. Registration links are sent out on a weekly basis.
