DESCRIPTION:Join the HIP Strike Team at Forest Park! We will be targeting woody stemmed species in the wooded areas of the park. Herbicide will be used at this event. We will meet in the parking lot near the restrooms as shown on the map below.  \n\n\n\nThis workday is from 9am-12pm. You are welcome to leave at any time\, but we ask that all attendees arrive 15 minutes early to sign in. \n\n\n\nAll participants are REQUIRED to complete a virtual safety training prior to the event that will take around 20 minutes to complete. A link to the training platform will be emailed to you after registration. Registration links are sent out on a weekly basis.

This will provide an important foundation for understanding what’s involved in water sampling as well as the science behind the various measurements you will take in the field.
