DESCRIPTION:his summer\, a small crew paddled 84 miles down the White River — from Muncie to Indianapolis — to document a story that’s been unfolding for decades. \n\n\n\nOn September 11th\, we finish the journey. \n\n\n\nThe White River Rising crew will arrive by paddle at White River State Park at 5pm\, completing the final leg from Frank’s Paddlesports Livery to the heart of Indianapolis. And we want you there when we do. \n\n\n\nJoin us for the White River Rising Finale Celebration — a free public event on Celebration Plaza at White River State Park from 5 to 8pm. \n\n\n\n🎶 DJ \n\n\n\n🍽️ Food & drinks \n\n\n\n🎉 Yard games \n\n\n\n🌊 Partner tables from river organizations across the region \n\n\n\n🎤 Remarks at 7pm \n\n\n\nThis is more than a party. It’s a celebration of the White River\, the communities along it\, and a film that finally tells its story — coming later this year.
