White River Canoe Cleanup

Join Friends of the White River for a unique and impactful way to help keep the White River clean—from the water! Volunteers will paddle down the White River, removing trash, debris, and illegal dumping along the way. This canoe-based cleanup is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the river while making a difference for our environment and local wildlife.

This event requires participants to navigate the river by canoe while collecting debris. We encourage those who are comfortable canoeing to register. If you have experience paddling and can handle a few hours on the water, we’d love to have you join us.

Canoes, paddles, life jackets, and cleanup supplies will be provided.

At the conclusion of the cleanup, Frank’s Paddlesports Livery will provide shuttle service from The Parks Alliance of Indianapolis back to Newfields for all participants.
