Miles for Myeloma

September 22 @ 10:00 am 2:00 pm EDT

Supporting multiple myeloma research and patient care.

For 20 years and counting, Dr. Rafat Abonour and his supporters have set out on the annual Miles for Myeloma campaign. This inspiring crew is made up of myeloma researchers and medical caregivers, family members of patients and even a couple of patients themselves.

Miles for Myeloma has taken many formats in the past 20 years, including long-distance runs, multi-day cycling treks and virtual miles logged during the pandemic. This community event gives myeloma patients and their loved ones the opportunity to conduct personalized fundraising campaigns to generate awareness about the blood cancer and raise funding for research and care aimed at improving treatments for this rare disease.
