Earth Day Pleasant Run Cleanup

Join us at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful to help protect and preserve an important natural resource of Indianapolis–Pleasant Run, a tributary of White River! Throughout the day of KIB’s largest-ever waterway cleanup, we will be removing litter along the banks of more than 5-miles of the stream, where it often collects within vegetation. By picking up litter we will beautify our city while protecting our local ecosystems, including our soil, waterways, plants, and wildlife, from pollution. Litter prevention is one of the easiest things we can do to keep our city clean, but it takes all of us doing our part!

There are a total of 8 separate areas being cleaned up, each with a separate meetup location and registration.

Morning Cleanups (9am-11am)

Area 1: Garfield Park

Area 3: Linden/Spruce

Area 5: State/Villa

Area 7: Churchman/Keystone

Afternoon Cleanups (Noon-2pm)

Area 2: Raymond/Beecher

Area 4: Spruce/State

Area 6: Villa/Churchman

Area 8: Prospect Falls
