Hey joyous people! We couldn’t be more excited to be back for Year 3.

BLACK: A Festival of Joy is on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 3-9pm at Taggart Memorial/Riverside Regional Park.

At BLACK, we proudly center Blackness and honor the joy and resilience derived from our shared experiences. We aim to leave behind what divides us and instead focus on what brings us together.

This movement celebrates the vibrant diversity and collective strength of the Black community – fostering unity, empowerment and a profound sense of shared joy.

We’re proud to present this FREE festival, where all are welcome to join the fun.

We’ve got a jam-packed day lined up with live performances, food trucks, vendors to shop, relaxation stations, and a whole lot more. Trust us, it’s always a day to remember!

Indy’s oldest riverfront park, Riverside Park includes a family center, aquatic center, sports courts, trails (including a segment of the White River Greenway), and the Taggart Amphitheater. It is also home to Frank’s Paddlesports and the beautiful 30th Street Bridge.
